Freddy David – Managing Director
Freddy joined HBFS in 2000 after having been the Company’s Corporate Bank Manager at Barclays Bank, Knightsbridge since 1993. He took over the Company in 2005 and is now Managing Director with 11 years of Wealth Management and 18 years of lending experience. He has also held positions at the London Stock Exchange and Chase Manhattan Bank. He has a large client following and handles our multi-million pound investment cases.
Freddy has a BSc Econ (Hons) in Industrial and Business Economics from the LSE and an MA from the University of London, as well qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Freddy is married to Councillor Hannah David, a lawyer, and together they also own a restaurant. He has 3 teenage children and his hobby is finding spare time to have a hobby!
Saul Zneimer
Saul joined HBFS from Bank Hapoalim where he was Head of Business Development in the UK, helping to grow both the Private Banking and Property Lending business.
He previously served as Chief Executive of the United Synagogue - one of the largest and most complex bodies in the Community - and as Rabbi of the Kenton Community, During 2010 – 2011 he was the interim Rabbi at Radlett.
Saul studied PPE at Oxford and received his Rabbinical Ordination in Jerusalem.
He is married to Liz and they are the proud parents and grand parents of a wonderful collection of youngsters.
Jonathan Rosen
Jonathan (also known as “JR”) has over twenty years of wide experience in the financial services industry, having previously been with Barclays bank Plc and a partner at St James Place Partnership.
He relishes the ability to give fully Independent advice from the whole market. He is currently qualified to give advice on all areas of financial planning, but, his area of expertise is Mortgages – including Residential, Buy-to-Let and commercial loans.
Jonathan is family man with children (and proudly grandchildren) who has lived in Elstree for 40 years.
David Kass
Having joined HBFS in 2006, from a banking and Trustee background, David has continued to provide our clients with a professional and efficient service.
His role is to ensure that all aspects of client administration are completed accurately from the first stages of investment applications to online fund switches and daily portfolio maintenance.
Laurence Joseph
Laurence qualified as a certified accountant in 1990 and was Finance Director of a ladies fashion house until 2006.
He joined HBFS in 2007 and introduces individual and corporate clients as well as developing relationships for HBFS with other professional firms, such as accountancy and legal practices.
Laurence’s position within the firm as Business Development Consultant has become an integral part of our work, particularly in respect of accountancy and legal liaison.
Laurence’s outside interests include being a season ticket holder at Arsenal and having a passion for fast sports cars.
Jonathan Lyons
Jonathan (also known as “JL”) has been with HBFS for twenty five years, having joined the firm in March 1986 following a background in Life Insurance.
As Head of Administration with a watching brief over Compliance, JL uses his extensive experience to ensure that all regulatory and compliance matters are dealt with in the best possible way. In addition, he oversees the ‘Training & Competence’ of our Advisers and Consultants and ensures that their ‘Continuous Professional Development’ is relevant and appropriate to their respective areas of expertise.
He also supports our Advisers with paraplanning for advice on Protection Insurance (Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, etc) and associated Trust arrangements.
JL enjoys all genres of music and is an avid reader - in particular of crime thrillers.
Anjani Dattani
Anjani has had a longstanding relationship with HBFS, providing secretarial and administrative assistance to the Managing Director, IFAs, Head of Compliance and Consultants. She also oversees our needs for integrating our database with our computer systems.
Anjani is originally from Kenya and has been living in the UK for the past 30 years. She is married with two children.
Maureen Goggin
Maureen (aka “Mo”) has been with HBFS for nearly 10 years and came to us with a wealth of industry experience, having previously worked at the same Insurance Company for 30 years. Mo supports all of our administration areas with secretarial assistance and Insurance Company liaison as required.
Mo loves gardening, home life and cooking.
Gigi Norman
Gigi has been with HBFS for 16 years and, as part of the experienced secretarial and administration sections, assists and supports the company’s IFAs, the Wealth Management Team and the Compliance Department. Gigi’s attention to detail ensures that all aspects of the company’s activities always run smoothly and efficiently.
Work aside, Gigi enjoys a full family life and basks in the reflected glory of her grandchildren.
